HALO INFINITE MASTERPIECE
Saatchi Gallery London UK
“To mark the launch of Halo Infinite, the latest installment in the iconic video game franchise, an original epic, large-scale oil painting is on view in Gallery 4. Created by Iva Troj, the Brighton-based 2016 Palm Award Winner and 2019 CAF Artist Of The Year, the 6m x 3m canvas depicts in minute detail a scene inspired by Halo Infinite. The scene shows franchise protagonist, The Master Chief, locked in battle with his alien enemy: the spark of rebellion in the center of the painting ignites scores of battles nearby, as the Chief inspires the marines around him to become heroes.”

THE HUMAN BEAT
“We breathe new life into the abandoned, pulling frayed histories and unloved and misundersood ghosts from the dust of estate sales and old buildings. Our small band of historians, salvagers, artists and caretakers heals torn canvases and faded strokes, hunting their history, refusing to let human expressions slip into oblivion.”

RETURN TO BEAUTY
A BEAUTIFUL BIZARRE MAGAZINE Exhibition
In April 2026, Iva Troj’s work was featured in the prestigious international group exhibition Return to Beauty, a landmark collaboration between Beautiful Bizarre Magazine and Outré Gallery in Melbourne, Australia. Curated as a response to global upheaval, the show invited over 100 contemporary artists to explore themes of sensory pleasure, classical skill, and rediscovering wonder. For this exhibition, Iva contributed the piece “My Child’s Armour,” a deeply personal painting rendered using the meticulous, 7-layer Flemish transparent oil technique. This piece marked a rare departure in Troj’s portfolio, serving as an allegorical self-portrait of her childhood self standing amidst a spectral, dreamlike menagerie of ghost animals and birds—blending her love for Old Master aesthetics with raw, introspective vulnerability.
